Stanard Field Staff Tracks

U.S. Field Staff [US Full-Time] The large majority of our field staff is on our standard, full-time salaried vocational missionary track. It qualifies for the largest amount of ministry reimbursements, full benefits and full training. Salary can vary according to local management, prior experience and responsibility. Part-time 30 hours may also qualify for this track.

U.S. Pastors [US Full-Time] are in the same track as Field Staff Missionaries but are also eligible for parsonage and a higher standard range for compensation (again dependent on local management, prior experience and scope of responsibilities). Pastors may also choose a part-time option.

U.S. Church Planter [US Full-Time] Most commonly, church planters are hired on our standard, full-time salaried vocational missionary track. If they are ordained, they qualify for pastor benefits. They may qualify for an exception in their initial fundraising timeline. Church planters may also (less commonly) choose a part-time option.

Part-Time Tracks

U.S. Part-Time Field Staff Some field staff may opt for 25 or 20 (half-time) hours at a standard rate of pay. They are not eligible for all benefits.

U.S. Part-Time Hourly Field Staff Some field staff may qualify for part-time ministry work based on a weekly time card on an average of 5-19 hours per week. They are paid on an hourly (not salary) basis and are not eligible for the majority of our benefits. If you're seeking a support-based ministry position where you will be working only 1-19 hours a week, please contact Reliant to verify what applicant track you should be in.

Local Ministry

Your local ministry is your orbit for the work God has called you to do. Whether you are the sole leader or are joining a team, this is the place that sets the tone for your theology and ministry approach. Reliant comes alongside to train and support you in support raising and employment, while entrusting the local church or ministry with your mission, vision, and spiritual oversight.

Our assessment and fundraising process is guided by this key value. So our first question is usually, "Who are you with?"

• Does your church or network already work with us? Then you’re ready to begin, and your key leader representative may already be established. For existing campus or missional churches, this often is a Reliant missionary in a pastoral or ministry leadership role.

• Is your future church or network new to Reliant? We establish new partnerships with like-minded churches or church networks on a regular basis. For church plants, we connect with a sending church or church board.
